You do not come to a man except to please his state
And you fear his hand or benefit from his knowledge
Or please bless him
Or you reach a mercy between you and between it

With someone’s mercy,
Unless he hopes to forgive his forgiveness
Either fearful of their power, or benefit from its knowledge,
Or hoping for your blessings and prayers,
Or bond between you and him.
