And if we do not hope for heaven, nor fear fire, reward, or punishment, we would have called for us to demand the honor of morals; It is what indicates the success of success.

Even if we did not have the hope of paradise and the fear of fire and the expectation of the eagles, it would still be worthwhile to seek ethical nobles; Because this is one of the things that show the way to success.
